Anyssa is a Texas attorney, athlete advocate, and educator. As the oldest daughter of a state prison warden, she spent much of her upbringing moving around Texas before her family returned to their roots along the southwest border. Playing a game paid for her college education and created a pathway to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer.
Since then, her career has spanned from a corporate office in the Midwest to one of the nation’s top public universities in the Bay Area. In 2022, she moved back home to serve her community.
Whether working with college athletes, young people, clients, or victims, she knows she is living her purpose. Her multifaceted approach allows her to pursue each of her passions with intention, and every experience continues to shape her path in advocacy.
